I highlights of Catania as Piazza Duomo: Lively city, lies at the confluence of the main arteries by Etna Via Vittorio Emanuele.Su it overlook other Baroque buildings: the Town Hall the former seminary clerics, the cathedral door and built Uzeda in 1696 to connect straight to the Main street area of the port. In the center stands the fountain of 'elephant carved in 1736 by Vaccarini. From the pool stands a pedestal is placed on an elephant carved from a single block of lava. The main church dedicated to the patron saint of Catania èlaCattedrale is Sant'Agata.

The front two Ordinidi columns, has a strong due to the work of Baroque 'Vaccarini architect, who also signed the prospectus of the left hip. In the first pillar on the right is the Tomb of Bellini and instead left in the first pillar stoup of the fifteenth century. Have also been recently discovered three other crypts, perhaps belonged to some ancient noble family in Catania.
