Hotel Jonic description

Hotel Jonic, a small and romantic residence in Liberty style is incorporated in an old villa dating back from the early 1900s. It is situated at the Mazzarò Bay, formerly an fishing harbour called Taormina mare.

Since it has been built, the residence has always been owned by the same family for 3 generationsAt the end of the fifties the villa was transformed into a hotel. The property has been recently renovated, maintaining the original style characterised by arches on the façade of the building and spacious rooms in the interior, hence corresponding to the typical style of Taormina’s Villas.

This unique enchanting Hotel, being one of the smallest between the 3 star hotels, still offers the most exclusive comfort. Transfers from and to the airport (to be paid locally), booking of excursions, diving with instructor, guided visits of the town and archaeological places. Reception is available 24 hours a day, next to the breakfast room which is decorated with paintings of antique Taormina. Everything is composed in a harmonious style.

The 20 rooms nearly all dispose of a panoramic terrace and sea view and offer all the necessary comfort for a relaxing holiday. The owner personally takes care of an impeccable service.
