Joe Cocker in Taormina

On July 26th, Joe Cocker will hear his music in a unique evening delighting his fans with a unique style and with a wonderful voice. From forty years he is one of the protagonists in the world of music. He recorded 21 studio albums and 4 lives. His unmistakable soul voice with blues influences is his trademark. He has sold millions of albums and scored highly successful singles all over the world. He won Grammy, Golden Globe and Oscar. In the early seventies his career was stopped by some of problem; Cocker returns to the scene forcefully in the eighties with his version of “you cal leave your hat on”, written by Randy Newman, on the movie “9 settimane e ½”. Other successes of that period are “Up Where We Belong” (written by Buffy Sainte-Marie sung with Jennifer Warnes on movie “Ufficiale Gentiluomo”: Oscar like best song); When The Night Comes; You Are So Beautiful; N’oubliez Jamais and Unchain My Heart. In 1998, together with Eros Ramazzotti sings “That’s All I Need To Know”, in the album “Eros Live” (Eros Ramazzotti).
